Feedback and complaints

If something isn't right, we want to know so we can fix it. Raising a concern will never affect the care your child receives.

If a child is in immediate danger, call Triple Zero (000) now.
  1. Talk to us

Most concerns are resolved quickly by talking to your child's educator or our coordination team, in person, by phone or by email. We record every concern, keep it confidential, and work with you to resolve it as quickly as we can.

  2. Contact the regulator

If we haven't resolved your concern, or you'd rather go to someone outside our service, contact the Victorian Early Childhood Regulatory Authority (VECRA). VECRA handles complaints about children's safety, health and wellbeing, and about how early childhood services operate.

What happens after you raise a concern

  • We acknowledge your concern and tell you who is looking into it.
  • We listen properly, gather the facts and keep you updated as we go.
  • Where the law requires it, we report to the regulator or child protection.
  • We record what happened and use it to improve our service.

Compliments and suggestions are welcome too. Send them to info@fivestarslearningfdc.com.
